Another poem for school that is oozing with cheesiness. Enjoy.
Sly
The master of slyness
Is not what you may think
He is quick and agile
Sprints with ease
He stalks his inanimate pray
He gathers them in bunches piled up high
But only to gorge on them before winter’s near
So cute and furry, just look at those beady eyes!
Do you know who it is?
Are you sure?
It’s a squirrel, you see.
So the moral of this story is:
Be careful after you’ve made a pecan pie…
A “master of slyness” may be near by!
