What I might’ve dreamt

The affection I yearn

But can I ever be one to discern

What is real?

I’ve checked the signs

The breathe I’ve lost

The sweats that break

My heart so soft

Is this okay to feel?

But with the past main within my mind

I’m reminded how bad I was deceived

(No no...)

& I don’t mean to deny myself

My God bless’ed lifelong luxuries

(So, so...)

Chorus:

With the palace locked

Armed guards awake

Would you fight through the night

To reach me?

As the dragons roar

& the lost souls warn

Might you still fight through the night

To see me?

I’ve witnessed love

Jump up in flames

I felt the hurt

The hopeless shame

But still I stand

It’s a different feel

When you take my hand

Makes me want to understand

Not a thing

Something strange

This is new

Still very familiar too

I hold out my chains

(break them...

At first I was just lusting you

But now I find I’m trusting you

I pray you keep this bond in tact

Or else I will be missing it

(For sure...)

Yeah...

Chorus:

With the palace locked

Armed guards awake

Would you fight through the night

To reach me?

As the dragons roar

& the lost souls warn

Might you still fight through the night

To see me?

Wish that you had me; not only cuz you need me

& if you mean it, fight through the night to find me

Is this foreal boy, or just one more illusion

I plead this last prayer; please I want no more confusion

Chorus:

With the palace locked

Armed guards awake

Would you fight through the night

To reach me?

As the dragons roar

& the lost souls warn

Might you still fight through the night

To see me?

(X2)...

Fight through the night

To see me...
