He observed her from a distance and smirked. He resisted the urge to laugh but his shoulders shook nevertheless. He was quite uncertain whether to be enraged or to be amused. He sighed and leaned against a tree with his eyes closed. This must be his punishment from the gods – a long overdue punishment.

She hesitated, quite unsure what to do next. This chase had undergone for three days and still neither of them cared to surrender.

She stepped forward.

His eyes glinted.

Both of them paused..

He gasped.

She grinned, her hands around his throat.

Blue eyes stared at green ones.

Now it was his turn to smile.

His lips met hers.

"Not so fast...” he whispered in her ear and disappeared in a split-second.
