Alone

No sound to be heard.
Stillness surrounds me.
Darkness creeps near.
Its coming for me.

I call out.
No one responds.
The light begins to dim.
I shiver from the emptiness.

Alone again.
Nothing has changed.
Alone is the only thing,
That stays the same.
