“Not all who wander are lost,”
The bumper sticker read,
I laughed as I walked away;
Surely one must be lost to wander!
I dismissed it from my mind.

As wise words are wont to do,
The silly little phrase remained.
I began to think about my path;
Had I truly never wandered?

After some debate, I realized
My way did not always follow
That path on which I had begun.
No, it meandered and wandered.
All through life’s little way,

Never once was I lost, though.
The Book within my hand as my guide,
I found my path once again.

So do not fear to wander,
As long as you have the Book.
Sometimes the best is found
When you think you’re lost.
