-Chapter 8:-

As Lila lay in her bed and looked over at her clock, she saw that it was only eleven. She fell asleep after a moment, and began to dream...

--
She saw a magnificent castle begin to come towards her. The ground around it was lush and green. Trees and bushes were at several different places, and were perfectly trimmed. The castle was exceedingly white and kind of glimmer to it; while the sky was light and colorful.

The scene then changed and was a dark castle with lava, fire, ash, and dark crust. A volcano was in the background, and filled the weak ground with molting hot lava. The scene was then changing faster. The castle walls hardened into a dark wall, but more lava, fire, and crust was added by red and black dragons. The lava from the mountain took down trees, but never hardened into dark crust since the dragons grabbed it for the castle before it could. Then a flash of light came through the whole thing.

--
Lila's alarm clock went off at that moment, and her eyes fluttered open. She sat up and stretched as she yawned. She pressed the off button and began getting dressed.

-After school- again-

At the end of school Lila rode her bike to the cabin to find James' grandpa, and find out about the dream she had. She had been thinking about it all day, and wanted to know what it meant. She came to the cabin and saw that Tasha was already there. Her kick stand clicked as she kicked it, and she ran inside.

She came in and saw that James was the only one. "Where's Tasha and your grandpa?" she asked him.

"Garden," James replied plainly.

"Ok," she said and went to the door.

"What's wrong?" James asked.

"It's a dream that I had," she said, "I was just wondering if he could see if it means anything."

"Let's see if I can help you," he said and sat down.

Lila sat down and recited it as best as she could. James listened intently through the whole thing.

"The Sheyena Castle," he said, "It was peaceful at first, but now..." He drifted off. If Lila had that dream, then that means...she was destined to save it! Though, the training needed to be finnished first.

"The Sheyena castle?" Lila asked.

"I'll tell you about it while we're training," he said, and threw a long stick at Lila. "It's a Bo."

Lila caught it. "I do have homework though."

"Can't you do it here?"

"I'd need to call my mom and dad."

"Can you?"

"Yeah," she flipped open her blue cell phone from her pocket," But what do I say? That I’m training somewhere in the woods for something in another world?"

"No," Tasha said as she came in with James' grandpa. "You can say that you're at my house." A smile came to her face.

Lila and James looked at each other and shrugged. "Ok," Lila replied as she looked back at Tasha. "But I do need to go home early today. My parents said that they have a surprise for me."

"Well then," James' grandpa put in his two cents. "We should get going."

They went over to Tasha's 'house' and found that James' grandpa's name is Shindoa. James taught Lila how to use a Bo, and Shindoa told them about Sheyena. Lila left when she was done and went on her way to her house.

-Walking home-

"So you get there by a portal," Lila mumbled to herself as she walked along the sidewalk. "Then where is the portal?" She then came to her house and saw a large blue cloth over something that was shaped like a car in the driveway. Lila opened the door to her house and yelled, "Mom! Dad! There's something in the driveway!"

Her parents came down with smiles and came to her. Her mom turned the puzzled Lila around and went between her and the thing with the dad. "What is something that a sixteen year old want?" her dad asked.

"Her own laptop?" Lila asked curiously.

"Well, here's something different," he grabbed the cloth and pulled it back to reveal a dark purple 03' Honda Accord.

Lila just stood there. It was just amazing. "Where'd you find the money to buy this?"

"We've been saving up for this for a long time," her dad replied.

"Go ahead and take it for a spin," her mom said and threw the keys to her.

Lila caught them. She had just received her license yesterday. Well, she couldn't just stand there. She got into the car and turned the key. Shania Twain's "I feel like a woman" came on. Lila looked at her parents and smiled. "Taking cd's from my room again?" she asked and gave a small laugh. "Well, I’m off!" she gently pressed the peddle and went off into the street.
