Solitude corrupts the creature’s mind.

Hatred Fuels his passion.

Despair-his motivation.

Fear-the only consistency.

The creature climbs to a city of men.

-Observes quietly,

Stealing food

Here and there.

Watching the men in his solitude,

without a sign of others of his kind,

He grows hateful.

Evolution occurs.

The creature gives birth to a demon.

With passionate hate for all men,

The demon hunts,

Devours,

And for fun:

Tortures his victims.

But a yearning for something greater

Causes him despair

-as lack of understanding always does.

The demon locks himself into a cocoon.

Evolution occurs.

After a lifetime’s wait,

Butterflies,

Thousands of them,

Spring from the cocoon.

The butterflies fly free and prosperous.

Demons, by jealousy,

Or perhaps desperation itself,

Begin killing the butterflies;

Each day

Every night.

An evolution is the only means of survival

For the vivid creatures.

Thus, man is born.

In this newly born species,

Fear is the only consistency;

But this species outwits his predecessors.

He had no need for evolution;

There is no drive;

Man learns to escape fear

Using the greatest method of all:

Delusion.
