A Stone

I tossed a stone down the road

After all it is nothing to me

So I threw it down a forbidden path

Forever gone, forever free.

The rock is out of sight, not a trace

And I silently wonder where it could be

I'm chasing it down this dusty trail

As if this stone means something to me.
