I can’t shake the feeling

That it’s just not the same.

And I’m tired of concealing

All the tears and all the pain.

Just because you don’t notice

That you don’t look into my eyes

Like before - filled with simple bliss,

Like I could make your sun rise.

I’ve gone through all the doubts in my head

Is he ignorant, angry, or just out of love?

But I just get more questions instead

When I ask you what you’re thinking of.

Why can’t I step back like I think you did?

I don’t want to love you so much

My heart is full of you, God and love forbid.

I hate your tone, but crave your touch.

Don’t let me need you

This

Goddamn

Much.
