The dog walks up to its master,
tail wagging slowly
head down and ears weak.
(It) sits idly, pushed through life
its master demanding its obedience through
a combination of love and fear.

The dog doesn't have the upper hand,
so it doesn't and shouldn't have a say in the matter.

But he shouldn't be that way with his children.
