Prolog

The casket is lowered. After the first shovel of dirt is pilled on those present to say their last goodbyes begin to leave. Some come close to the edge and drop a flower in.

Once everyone leaves and the chairs are cleared, someone will come to fill the hole in.

A young man, probably early twenties comes out from behind a tree. He walks slowly to the edge of the tomb. He looks down at the casket and tears slip out his eyes. He whispers his goodbyes and drops several white envelops into the grave.

He begins to turn away when a worker comes up to the grave.

“What are those papers down there?” The man asks himself out loud.

The blond man stops and with out looking back answers, “Letters never sent.”

Stan and Joseph’s story…
