Gazing in the mirror,

she paints herself a lie.

Creating that masterpiece

That only makes her cry.

Hey eyes, oh how they sparkle,

and her hair, so “in” and fun,

her skin, radiant and flawless,

so she can deceive all but one.

Still, tears stream from hey eyes,

and the acid burns her flesh,

for the poison within,

Will no longer stay at rest. .

Quick, quick, grab the cover

up and the powder too–

Cause, she wouldn’t dare go out like this,

After she saw what they did to you.

A/N - So I haven't written in forever, and i wanted to write something. I was rereading a lot of my previous writing and said, oh dear God, how did anyone enjoy that? So, I decided to write. this was somewhat based off of "The Ignorance of the Human Race" but, i took it differently. Tell me what you think. I need honest opinions!!
