In one large apartment building, with one large group of people who have just graduated from high school, 12 people will be connected with a special bond. Those 12 people have decided to go to college on an island called Blast Island in only a couple miles north of the equator. There, the apartment building will house all 12 of them as they start their college lives. All of them rarely have something in common.

Skye is the type of guy you see one day as the cute little kid next door and the next the hot guy next door who loves get the attention of all the girls. He went from wimpy to athletic and puberty did him right as he went from the shortest kid in the class to one of the tallest guys at his school in Southern California. Girls go ga ga over him. He has brown-ish black-ish hair and eyes. He’s an all around guy and is very devoted and loyal to all of his friends. He hopes to find a good life and maybe even a good wife during his stay at Blast University and also hopes to get away from his girlfriend back at home, who he never wanted to date in the first place.

Chastity is exactly what her name means. Everyone finds her a pure person. She’s a fun person to be around, but can also be quiet. She’s always been that way ever since she was young. Even as an infant, she was found to be very quiet and serene and sometimes the total opposite of that by being loud and outrageous. Her bright clear brown eyes and black hair contrasted with the fair color of her skin. She’s a really patient person and can be really easy to get along with. She chooses her friends wisely and keeps away from those who she thinks she would not get along so well with.

Hannah just turned 18 in June and has dark brown hair with light hazel eyes. She wanted to get as far away from her family in the plain town in Kansas and still have fun so she decided to go to Blast University. She can be smart, but is lazy and that causes her to have average grades. Her dad is the owner of a large oil company so that made her really rich. She loves to shop and spend money on anything whether she needs it or not.

Aaron’s a Cancer and you really can tell by his tendency to always be daydreaming. His flaming red hair and burning brown eyes seem to soften as he daydreams. Ever since he was little Aaron wished he could live somewhere warm since he lived in Maine where it was raining and cold 9 months a year. Even though he is a day dreamer, he can be a really reliable and trustworthy friend. Oh and he has a secret that only a selected few know. He’s gay.

Ana looks like a dork, but don’t be fooled. It’s only her glasses that make her seem that way. Without them, she can actually look like one of the prettiest girls you’ve ever seen. It seems that she also has a low self esteem since she doesn’t really believe in herself. She’s coming to Blast University in hopes of actually meeting a guy and being able to have more confidence in herself and to be able to trust others.

Matthew is what you call a star athlete, but the thing is, he’s got a brain the size of a peanut. His athletic career in high school was what got him by and allowed him to graduate since everyone always needed him to play. He got a basketball scholarship to Blast without knowing that their teachers aren’t as lenient as his teachers back in his hometown of Miami, Florida. Maybe Blast is what he’ll need to shape up his brain.

Scott is in six words, the cheapest guy you’ll ever meet. He wouldn’t loan anyone money if it cost him his life, but he’ll “borrow” money to no end. He constantly tries to get a girl, but somehow can never do it. His friends tell him it’s because he’s cheap, but he thinks that it’s just because girls can’t see what a guy he is even thought he’s not. Blast Island will be a little different than his life back in Houston, Texas and may even fit his taste since money never seems to be a problem on Blast.

Sarah’s what you can call the all around it girl. Pretty, smart, and athletic are some adjectives you’ll hear with Sarah’s name. She can get almost any guys to do practically everything for her. Even though she knows she can do this, she doesn’t take advantage of it like any other girl would do. Instead, she tries to get people to get to know her for who she is, not how she looks. She has light brown hair and black eyes. Blast will probably have less guys than her hometown of the big apple, but it’ll probably be twice as hard to hide from the guys.

Zeno is somewhat of a risk-taker. His odd name comes with his odd hair and odd personality. His hair is black, but has blue and silver in parts of his hair. He loves a challenge and will be up to anything except school. His parents scold him saying that if only he were as enthusiastic with school as he is with challenges and girls. His arrogance can be a pain, though, and can also get him into some odd situations. The change from the big city of Chicago to the small island of Blast may help his attitude.

Erin is the type of girl you wouldn’t tell your secrets to. She absolutely LOVES to gossip. She can probably gossip all day long if she could. In truth, she only gossips to try to keep her being a little pudgy a secret. Even though she can’t keep her mouth shut, she can be a really good and comforting friend, as long as you don’t tell her something you don’t want the whole school to know. She has black hair with red streaks and clear brown eyes. She comes from her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.

Jamie is and always has been the bully. He always stole lunch money and beat up people who ticked him off. While he does that, he does it discreetly and doesn’t make a huge deal out of it, like other guys. He does have a weakness, as any other bully does, which is, a pretty girl. He’s actually really quiet and doesn’t talk very often. He always has his hair really short to look almost bald and has black eyes. He comes from New Jersey’s capital city of Trenton.

Last, but not least, is Constance, who is someone who gets along with almost anyone. She has dark brown hair with blonde highlights and brown eyes. She’s the girl who’s just the bystander, but is friends with everyone and has no enemies. She comes from the city of Honolulu, Hawaii. Since she’s used to being on a small island, she’s probably going to be ok with living on Blast Island for her college years.

All twelve of these people are different in their own ways, but the same in others. Two things they have in common now, is that they all live in the same floor of the same apartment building and that they will soon attend Blast University, home of the Blast dolphins. Soon enough, all twelve of them will find that life without each other would feel emptier and that together, they can withstand all the hardships of college life
