I think I'll die and then grow old

Grow so cold and do what I'm told

I think I'd like to be a cat

Not give a damn about right or wrong

Say "So what, who cares, so what, so long"

I think I'd like to eat a rat

Watch the blood run down my jaws

As my hands turn into paws

Now I don't need to wear a hat

I won't need a heaven or hell

I won't be good or bad or just as well

I'll just be a lazy cat

What the hell am I saying

(Cats don't do shit)

I think I've just stopped praying

(Except die in a fit)

Now I think I'm braying

(When one dies you replace it)

Now I think I'm just an ass

(Like yesterday’s cheap booze)
