Your heart burst through the soaring clouds

It flied red cried dead and tears streamed behind it

Soft and silver, the tears flew down

Terminal velocity, touching ground.

And when love got too much you lost it all

You let it go, you let it fall

And now your heart’s as cold as stone

I can’t reach you; you’re all alone.

You flew and heart flew by your side

Depression an angry joyous ride

But the sounds still came from way below

The memories ringing from long ago.

You dripped in and out, consciousness

Reviling and reminiscing the lost emotions

Love took you on a cruel path

You returned bruised and beaten, but back at last.

But now we’re playing your stupid game

You push away emotions; what a crying shame

And now you flee, you run away

Love lost like needles in glittering hay.
