We Worship Death
by Moonliel-Lucifer

Blackest shadows plague the sky
Clouds of soot and dirt and grime
Tears of poison
They begin to cry

Blasts of bombs—exploding fire
Raining bullets tear the air
Cries of dire need
And hearts so sad they start to bleed

Arms grab on with strong holds
‘Don’t go’ they cry
‘You’ll get burned!’

Forget democracy or weapons galore
Look at all the corpses
Littering the field with gore

Gashed out eyes
Strung by a hair
Bleeding souls
And no one to care

Cries of anguish tear the heart
Children’s bodies filtered in carts
Crosses marking graves of heroes
Scattered flowers and flowing tears

End.

A/N: I personally like this poem… for some reason, but this is the first ever poem that I’ve ever written, so I’m pretty proud of it. Check out my second ever written poem “Never Hello”, I like it too, but I still like this one more.
