TAKE ME WITH YOU

Take me with you,
For I cannot fly;
Broke my wings,
In wasted efforts to defy.

Take me with you,
For I am broken;
I’ve given up,
I cannot grasp life’s token.

Take me with you,
For I’m chained to stones;
Tried to break my bonds,
Succeeded only in breaking bones.

Take me with you,
For I am crucified;
Nailed immobile,
In death left deified.
