Gravity pulls water to the earth

Lets it fall where it will

On grass, homes, people

Its steady beat on pots and pans gives emphasis to its regularity

But at the same time

Brings out its rhythmic beauty

Sunlight is simply white

But when it shines through the downpour

The beauty of its every colour is shown

Its cool sensation on the skin

Gives a magical out of body experience

Gives the feeling of being a part of nature

No longer an individual, intruding on the sacred ritual of nature

But a part of it

Wholly connected to all that happens

Gives a sense that finally, you’re home.
