“A Love So Real…”

Steve’s Point Of View

I knew I loved her. I couldn’t explain it. Every time I saw her, my heart filled with joy and my day got better.

I was sitting in the back of my brother black Dodge Daytona, while trying to bring myself back to reality. I had spent the entire day with Jillian and I had never felt better. One reason I felt so good was because she had given me my first kiss. She was all I thought about the whole ride home.

I woke up the next day realizing what my brother meant when he said, “Damn, dude I got a hang over.”

I stayed up until 2 or 3 in the morning, reliving every moment I had spent with Jillian that night. The bad thing was I had school the next day.

I had written Jillian a note, hoping that I could give it to her before homeroom started. I thought my note pretty much summed up how I felt. It went something like this:

Dear Jillian,

Damn, last night was the best night of my life. I never felt this way about anyone before. Like in past relationships I thought I was gonna be with them forever but that never happened. But with you it’s different. With you, I know that no matter what I do or what I say that you will always be by my side, no matter what. You opened up my eyes, and now I realize what truelove is. I never want this feeling to end. I just hope this feeling last all my life.

I hoped that I could give it to her before homeroom started. I just hoped that I could see her at least once throughout the day because when I saw her my day instantly got better.

I looked forward to seeing Jillian in my dreams. “My dreams,” as I told her once, “I will always be the place were I love you. We may not be together and we maybe far apart, but in my dreams I will always love you. I will always love you in that place between my dreams, and before I wake up. That is were I will always love you. No matter what we become, or what we end up being, I will always love you in my dreams."
