Crawling Out Of The Dark

Trying to get inside of you
Is like crawling through fire
I can’t seem to find a way
Without breaking any walls
I know how it feels, to give in
You feel so callous and burning skin
But the wounds will heal in time
And the pain does go away
All I’m asking is you shed some light
Help me find the way inside to you
There’s only so much one can take
Before things start to loosen and break
I understand how it feels to be numb
