Hello all, I am posting a wonderful poem that my thirteen year old daughter wrote. I told her I would post it for her, so she could see that people thought about it. So enjoy while I take some time off.

Dark

Why

I cry, I plead, I hurt

I scream I drown but

You don’t listen

Why do you hurt me so?

I can’t go. You say

You’ll change, you’ll love

Me back, you’ll never

Change! All ways be

the same! I lay awake

to cry and scream, to hurt

and die, but why did you

have to go? I’ve been

gone way to long, but

you don’t care! I’m nothing

to you so! Why stay with the

pain?
