My shame silences me

as you urge me to speak.

Would you look at me the same

if you knew what I had done?

I threw my life away.

I thought I didn't have a choice,

but I did! I did!

I went and I chose to.

I regret it now.

I don't like who I am now.

I want to go back.

I want to erase everything;

the nightmares, the monster,

and my mistakes.

All of everything.

I would give anything

just to make things right.
