"Run!" Screams the lights inside me

Swarming my jumbling mind

They startle me form slumber.

"Hide!" screaming I jump outside

I race down barefooted.

Confused I run swiftly.

"Scream!" I shake my head no,

I will not give in to my madness.

I want it to go away!

"Bleed!" Finally, I listen.

Sadly, Ironically, I listen and

I run and scream and hide and bleed.

"Die!"

I have done what they said before…

why should I not listen now?
