Chapter 3
It was terrifying. The look of pure terror on Dons face was enough to worry the entire staff. The entire fifth floor of the hospital was closed off for “quarantine” as to ensure that there would be no unwanted visitors. Don kept repeating the same words over and over again. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry…”
Unaware that Don was getting back up, the doctors searched for their medical books and the interns searched for their antibiotics. They were going to try and help Don the only way they could, medicine. Of course they all knew that medicine was not going to help him, but they had to try. Don was slowly moving towards one of the interns. He grabbed the young girl by the neck and addressed the girl in his arms.
“This is over! You cannot kill me, I’m a doctor!” Then, to the doctor’s horror, Don broke the girls neck. He twisted her head until the echo of the snap was ringing around the room. It sounded as if a stampede of people were running over twigs. Then, Don fell. All of the doctors ran over to him. He slowly opened his eyes.
“I won. I killed the assailant. I’m safe…” Don began to cry in relief. He was oblivious to the fact that he had just killed a medical intern.
“Don, what happened? Do you know what you just did? You killed one of the interns, nobody was after you!” But it was too late. Don had slammed back into another coma, but only after he had grabbed the scalpel that was left on the ground. He was ready. He was going to end this once and for all.
The doctors were thinking. That’s all they could do. They decided that the “assailant” was actually Don fighting off his own ailment. He was trying to kill his own schizophrenia. It turns out that the wound's Don is suffering from is actually Don hurting himself. His handicap is so strong that he can hurt himself in his sleep. The poor man was rolling on the ground, the doctors oblivious to the fact that Don was now on fire.
“AHHH!” The killer was pouring more kerosene on him. The flames roared and Don was slowly roasting alive. His hair was burning away and his skin was beginning to fall off. Then, all of a sudden, the fire went out.
“How could we miss that? He was burning! Wait! I have an idea. What if we take him to surgery? Could we do that without causing any harm to him? We could fix him up as soon as he gets injured!” Mark, a young doctor said aloud.
“That’s actually a great idea.” Marcus replied. Prep him for surgery and then meet me in the O.R. when he’s ready.” Marcus headed towards the operating room immediately. Anything to help his best friend.
Don stood up and faced the hooded figure. He grabbed the scalpel from his pocket and rammed it into the man’s shoulder. Blood spurted out of the wound and Don began screaming. His shoulder was bleeding and burning with pain. Confused Don tore the hood off of his enemy to reveal the most surprising thing in the world to him; he was staring face to face with himself.

Finally! I am able to continue my writings! Unfortunately all my stories are saved at school so during the summer I couldn’t write but now I’m back! This chapter isn’t that long but I have the worst case of writers block right now so it will suffice. Thanks for reading!
