Chapter one

A 15 year old girl with shoulder lenth blonde hair and green eyes sat at her desk waiting for class to end so she could chat to her friends. She was always bored in this class, the teacher kept talking about werewolves, vampires, and other fake animals.

'As if' the girl thought 'I should have never signed up for mythology, it's so useless to learn about fictional things like werewolves and an anceint creature called Kamotodeloto' she sighed.

The bell rang and the girl picked up her stuff and left to meet her freinds.

"Hey Slyvia! Over her" a girl shouted over the other students leaving to go home the girl saw her and walked over.

"Hey Jenna, whats up?" Sylvia said to Jenna.

"There was a new kid in my class, I think his name was Zenos... Strange name don't ya think?" Jenna asked

"Yeah it is, so do we have cheerleading today?" she asked her

"Didn't you hear about hope?" she shook her head "Something attacked her and killed her last night, so all after school activitys untill they find what killed her."

"Hey whats up guys?" another girl said

"Hey Ziya, Jenna was telling me about hope, did you hear?" Sylvia asked

"Yeah my teacher told the class, so are we going somewhere today or what?" Ziya looked at them both. "Well?"

"Can't, My mom dosn't want me to go anywhere till they find what killed her, I got to go now. See ya later!" Jenna said while running up the halls.

"Well that ruins our fun, she's the only one of us that can drive. I'll see you later Sylvia, Bye." and Ziya walked away.

"Bye" Sylvia responded.

She was walking home when she bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry!" she said "I wasn't looking where I was going, are you all right?" Kira asked looking up at the person she bumped into, he had brown hair and blue eyes. He looked like he was 17.

"Yeah I'm fine, are you ok?" he said smiling at her.

"Yeah, are you new? I've never seen you before" she said getting up.

"Yep, just moved here, my name is Zenos"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Sylvia I better get going see you later Zenos!" and she ran to her house.

"Where were you!? Do you know how worried I was about you?" Sylvia's mom yells "There is something killing people and you don't even tell me you were walking home today! I thought you might have been killed!"

"I thought there was cheerleading today mom" Sylvia explained "So when I found out there wasn't any and Jenna had to go home I thought I'd walk home."

"What if you got killed then what?" her mother asked glaring at her.

"What ever killed hope wouldn't attack in broad daylight mom."

"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT" she yelled Sylvia turned around and headed for the door. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING? GET BACK HERE!" Sylvia just walked out the door and left for the woods

'How dare she yell at me!?' Sylvia thought. She walked deeper in to the woods and came upon a tree house. 'Dad, I miss you so much'

Flash back

A young sylvia was sleeping in her bed when her mother got a phonecall. She heard the phone and woke up. she took her teddy bear and walked to the living room.

"who was it mommy?" she asked yawning.

"It was the police" she said crying "daddy had an accident"

"Is daddy alright?" she asked hugging her bear closer and walking to her.

"I don't no Sylvia, they say he was badly hurt" she said picking up Sylvia and putting her in her lap "we are going to see him tomorrow when it isn't so wet"

"What happened to daddy?" she asked begining to cry herself

"He got into a car crash, they say..." she paused, thinking "you should get to bed its getting late" she held her up and carried her to her room. "We'll see him in the morning" and she left the room.

"What happened?" a voice asked

"Mommy says that daddy got into an accident shadow"

"Did she tell you how?" shadow asked she shook her head and looked at the black wolf

"How did you get in here shadow?" she asked him

"The same as always" shadow said "get some sleep you need it" he went got the covers and pulled it up to her face.

"I'm scared shadow" she said hugging the wolf

"Don't be, I'm here, I will protect you Sylvia, now rest you need it" he said licking her face she giggled

"Thank you shadow. Night and don't let mommy see you" she laid down and slept.

"Good night young one" he said
