I hurt your soul.

Here I see you all day everyday and it make me wonder why you let him hurt your soul. When you know you are so much better than that? Any man would be proud to have you lady. To share your love, you see God made you to love, not to be hurt by any man, he gave you that soul to love someone good. To be a queen in some man home and to know that you are loved.

So I'm writing you this letter today just to say, I hurt your soul. I'm not that man you need in you're home. As a man I should have known better, now you're gone and it all because of me. I hurt your soul baby and I was wrong. Now I'm paying the price to sit here alone. Cause it was I who hurt your soul.

All those late nights I left you alone. Those other women I should have left alone. I wasn't being a man lady, a foolish boy without a plan. All those time I got mad, and all those time you came to me saying I love you. God almighty I couldn't see not until the day you left me. Cause I hurt your soul, even now I don't have a reason why I hurt your soul, and it was right for you to leave me alone.

Now I wish you the best, let some other man give you some rest. I pray that he hold you tight late at night. Let him listen when you think something wrong; let him give you that happy home. But most of all let him take care of that loving soul. Tell him how I hurt you so that he will always know the truth, and if you find it in your heart to come back to me, baby here I'll be remembering how I hurt your soul.
