Inhuman Expression

Is there some way to explain this?

Hips pointed up,

My belly pressed down on yours,

Ready to plunge with something I don’t have

Between something that feels unreal

No,

It’s all fingertips now,

Searching for in opening in your gaping lips

Are you trembling because you’re cold?

Is that why goosebumps make constellations on your skin?

Somehow I wish to pull away,

But you’re moaning

With an O-shaped mouth

That tells me I’ve done something good

Your body is heavy,

But I’m not holding you up

Instead, it’s you doing all the work

Engulfing my fingers

Into a wet abyss

Losing myself, yourself

Into a world of darkness vs. cream

I relax my grip and turn my head to the side

Sweat,

It streams down the curve of your breast

Looking like a tear

Salty and pure that came from your eye

I look and face you;

Your eyes are dry

And it’s me

With the deep emotions

Running rampant in my head,

Reflected back from your glassy gaze

You’re lost inside the clouds,

Chasing starbursts and supernovas

Leaving me alone in a place

That should feel warm,

But is too hot instead
