Movies have scripts, pictures, and music.

Music has words and rhythms.

Pictures are able to have phrases assist them.

But poetry?

Poetry in its most humble form?

It must stand by itself.

-

When removed from the voice in a throat, what is left to give it meaning?

What can written novels rely on to convey the inspired mood?

The answer is nothing. Nothing but itself.

-

The author certainly helps, though.

It is up to him to handpick the diction.

He alone can wield the awesome power of words- if he knows how to correctly handle them.

And so, what brings flesh to literature?

What is the blood that sustains a stanza?

It is not sound, taste, touch, or smell.

Instead, stories count on 26 letters to give them life.
