American Revolution

By: Brendan2k5

Rated: PG-13/Teen

Genre 1: Sci-Fi

Genre 2: Supernatural

Summary: After getting some unexpected help from Ted Toss, Abyssion Highwind and Hannah Patterson, the Kyomora Trio agree that the time has come to take the fight to their enemies: The United States Government. Either fight and be free or die trying. With the Trinity Blade on their side, the odds are looking good…

A/N: A change of storyline forced me to pull Ted and company halfway through ‘Crossbreeds’. For those who’ve read the ‘Our Family Matters’ stories, Ted and Co. come in right after the events of ‘As Life Goes On’. Because Celes, Aeris and a few others are younger than I made them in ‘Crossbreeds’, a few things are changed to make it work here. For those looking forward to seeing more of ‘Be No Evil’, you’re in for a special treat!

Chapter 1: Heroes through Time

---

“There’s no end to this!” Charles said after taking out three more Agents. “They just keep coming!”

“They’re nothing special but they’re so many of them.” Chen said after taking out a sniper. “We have no choice—fall back to the Doctor’s House!” As the four began to retreat they were shocked to see what looked like a teleporter opening up in front of the house.

“What the…!” Mara exclaimed in shock. Now they were trapped on all sides!

“Either we fight through or die trying!” Charles said as they ran forward.

“Get down!” someone said as a group of people materialized in front of them. Mara saw what was about to happen for what it was and hit the deck, followed by Charles, Chen and Ayako. “Meggido Abysdos!” The voice said again. A huge portal opened up in the sky and sucked all the agents into it. When it closed, only Normandy, Chris and the Changs remained.

“Impossible!” Normandy spat. “The only person capable of using a move like that is…”

“Abyssion Highwind.” The caster said as he stepped forward and drew his sword. “In the flesh!”

“Ted Toss, Hannah Patterson, Tomiko Morado…this isn’t good…” Chris noted.

“Damn it!” Normandy spat again. “I can’t believe I’m saying this but abort mission! The enemy is too strong. I repeat—retreat now!” With that, the warships pulled away from the island and hastily headed off.

“They’re getting away!” a girl said as she ran to the beach.

“Angel, wait!” Hannah said. “Let them go. Now that they know we’re here, they won’t be coming back to this island.” Chen, Ayako, Mara and Charles just stared at the people whose very presence scared the United States’ best Agent. Heroes from another world had come to their aid.

“Are you Mara Kyomora?” one of them asked Mara.

“I am she.” She replied.

“I’m Ted Toss and I’ve come from the year 2032 to help your cause.” He said. “A rift in time caused something I never thought I’d see happen—two of me from two different periods in time existing in the same time at the same time. Before he disappeared, the Ted Toss from your time asked that I aid you on his behalf. After hearing the story I just couldn’t say no. That and I’ve been wondering what it would be like to fight the United States.”

“We did our homework and we know what would’ve happened had we not come here so quickly.” said Hannah. “You four would die and the United States would take over the world though not in the name of Freedom and Liberty. With the figureheads of the Anti-US Movement dead, groups like yours will crumble and others will be wiped out. I myself am not the kind who would do nothing as hope disappears from this world.”

“That’s not all.” Angel added. “It seems that allowing these events to pass would trigger the End of the World and ultimately, all life on earth. Without us, Victory is Impossible.”

“If so, then we gratefully accept your aid.” Said Mara. “Let us work together to protect the future and make sure tomorrow is a happy one.” With that, the group went inside to plan for the coming war—there was no question that was exactly what was going to happen.

“You guys are not going to believe—“ Ayla as she came upstairs. She stopped when she saw Ted and the others in the room. “Is this for real?”

“You bet it is!” Chen exclaimed. “Isn’t this great? The Champions of Power, Courage and Wisdom have lent us their services. With this there is no way could loose this war!”

“A war?” Ayla repeated.

“Of course!” Charles exclaimed. “No doubt they will hunt down our counterparts all over the world to smoke us out. I think it’s time we took the fight to them for once.”

“I agree.” Mara said as she stood. “There are others out there would be willing to help us fight this war. All we have to do is find them.”

“Wouldn’t you think we should look into fighting some battles first?” Tom suggested. “I don’t know about the rest of you but us just being here doesn’t really mean much if we’re not doing things. All of us are known for our skills in the art of war and I think we need to start a fight to make things interesting.”

“What do you have in mind?” asked Mara.

“Let’s look into capturing some states and bases for starters.” Tom replied. “Based on the information Mark and I have been looking over, Florida, Texas, Cuba and Puerto Rico would be the perfect places to target. We could start with Florida and go from there.”

“Why not all of them at once?” asked Ted.

“What?” asked Ayla. “That’s impossible!”

“If that’s what you truly believe, we’ll go back to our own time.” Said Hannah with a frown. “Water’s Ted’s specialty, lady smartass. He can take care of Cuba and Puerto Rico by himself while the rest of us take care of Florida and Texas.”

“I’ll still need some people to keep the aircraft busy while I engage the naval forces.” Said Ted. “I think Ann, Alex and Angel will do for this mission.”

“Mind if I come, too?” asked Chen. “This, I got to see!”

“Fine by me.” Ted replied absently as he went to the door. “Everyone else, meet me outside.”

“Wait, I just remembered why I came up here.” Ayla said suddenly. “Amy gave birth to 6 babies—one of them human.”

“Are you serious?!” Charles exclaimed.

“No question.” Ayla replied. “Dr. Clark did some tests and everything.”

“This is major…” Chen trailed. “It means it may be possible to create an anti-hybrid serum for those who want to be human again.”

“I like being a Hybrid just fine, thank you.” Said Charles. “Though I’m sure there are others who may want to become human.”

“Yet one more thing to make our cause more worthy to fight for.” Said Ayako. “I don’t know about everyone else but I’m ready for some action.”

“Wait—where did Ted go?” asked Tom suddenly.

“He’s outside.” Mark Anthony replied. “And he’s about to summon Leviathan.”

“WHAT?!” Ayla, Charles and Chen said in unison.

“I had heard the art of summoning was lost long ago.” Chen remarked. “Though Amy did mention she possesses the right of summoning.”

“Well lucky for you, there’s a Master Summoner among you.” Ann remarked. “Ted, Abyssion and Hannah can summon a dragon but allow me to show you what a summoner is capable of!”
