Prologue To: Descendant (e-mail me or review if you have a better name for it)

Jessica Archer, a normal 15 year old girl, lives her life to the fullest. She never really worried about anything but school and friends. Jess’s mother is really into genealogy, or the study of one’s relatives, when one day, Jess arrives home to find a picture. It looks exactly like her, but the picture was really old. The date on the back read 1641. When she asked her mother where she got this, she said her name was Princess Trinity, heiress to the throne of Chikona. She had mysteriously been kidnapped and never found. When Jess learns this, she passes it off as nothing, but doesn’t tell a soul. Weird things start happening. Popular girls want to go shopping with her, cute guys start talking to her more, and people start being overall nicer to her. Jess starts to believe her life is great, when all of a sudden, her mother is involved in a terrible accident and the truth behind Princess Trinity’s kidnapping unravels at her fingertips.
