My only salvation,

Feel me call out to you,

Can’t you feel my breathing?

Can’t you hear my heart beating?

----------------

My salvation,

Please don’t leave me,

Leaving me with these dieing memories,

Slowly to rot inside.

----------------

My salvation,

You leave me lonely in a crowd,

I feel you only in my mind,

Your presence forever frozen around me.

----------------

My salvation,

Daylight and butterflies around me,

They are the death of you,

Close my eyes for the night - Moths flight eternal.

----------------

My salvation,

I visit old memories,

These memories don’t want me anymore,

The memories of you I live for.

----------------

My salvation,

Surrounded in light,

Shining bright,

I long for the night of you.

----------------

My salvation,

Old memories turning to new,

But old memories stay of you,

Moving ahead, leaving you.

----------------

My salvation,

Can you still hear me?

Can you still feel me?

Am I a distant memory to you to?

----------------

My salvation,

I made contact with you,

After so long, one little note:

I miss you.”

----------------

My salvation,

Why do you torment me so?

After so long,

I was just getting over you!

----------------

My salvation,

I am but a little lady bug,

You the swift spider,

Your web our memories entwined.

----------------

My salvation,

I now fly free from you,

My wings and heart torn,

But I will heal, I will mend,

But I will always think of you.
