Awaken by the barking of a mad dog
The girl in front of me
Is a furnace
Wrapped in a flag
I'm burning up
Inside my skin
And I can feel how my face
Is really just a mask
I'm really far away
Falling in and out of a lecture
Poets are seldom rich
I can still feel
The fall I never really took
Off the stage
Blinded by the bright lights
And the lobster says
That there is a shotgun
Between it's legs
It's pretending it's a penis
I laugh at the lobster
And it tips it's hat to me
…and walks away
