The light from your heart,
Was so blinding in my eyes,
As you stabbed my back.

Your eyes betray me,
In the cold pools of my heart,
Where I thought you dwelled.

Blood drips steadily,
Down the contour of my back,
As you stab my dreams.

My heart in your hands,
I trusted my dreams to you,
And you murdered them.
