The truth hurts,

everyone knows that.

Telling the truth is a rule we live by -

but why?

It hurts, it makes us cry,

it makes us feel like we don’t belong.

As soon as we are happy with ourselves

the truth comes along

and it knocks us off our feet.

-

But there is hope.

The smallest light

that we can barely see.

The smallest light

at the end of the tunnel.

It tries to guide us,

it tries to tell us that everything will be okay.

That the world is still spinning,

the voices try to teach us

that not all truth can hurt.

That some is good

and that it balances the world.

But please, be careful,

of the truth you reveal.
