There’s things that I should do
and things I want to say
Things they need to see
so they know I’m not okay

There are words I can’t get out
no matter how I try
Times I want to quit
and times I wish I’d die

There are times I wish I hadn’t
time’s that I regret
Times that never last
and some I can’t forget

There are times that I will run away
just to see who cares enough to follow
and times that I will bleed
just to prove that I’m hollow

There are times where I am happy
times it’s easy to play tough
but also times it hurts
and times when life is not enough

Times when I go searching
not knowing what I’ll find
times my fear is real
then times it’s in my mind
