A Quiet Little Whisper

10/2/04

You hold a single

Sweet crystal vase

Strung above eternity.

Breathing silence and cold,

Here in the Darkness of

The loss of all hope,

We sense the bloom

Of oncoming joy,

The premonition of destruction.

Seize the entity in both fists

Rejoice in reconciled bloodshed

Your heritage and their defeat.

Recollections fade with time

And the dust obscures words

And thin lines on parchment.

I want your pain to sing

A thousand notes above terror,

To witness the Angel of

Inhibitions collapsed.

Let go of second thoughts.

Freedom flutters with dark wings

To steal you from your fears.
