Sweet Little Child

Sweet little child,

I beg you please don't cry

Your tormentors will think they win

In wanting you to die

As bad as things are now,

One day they will look up

Sweet little child

I beg you, please chin up

Don't make the mistakes I did

The scars are hard enough

But when I know what caused them,

The pain is twice as rough

Someday you'll find a place

With friends that you love.

I swear it won't take long

Not until Heaven above

Please, Carpe Diem

Don't let time pass you by

Little girl, dry your tears,

Sweet child please don't cry.
