Shrugging away another excuse,
You walk away from me.
I stand there silently.
I stand there broken.
You're still mine,
but I know not for long.
I see how you look down
when I'm around you like
you're hiding something…
like you don't love me.
Mother Nature should have
taken these things to mind.
We shouldn't be able to
love someone who
wont love us back.
