Eve's Sin
When they smile, you turn to putty,
Emotionless clay that can be moulded and shaped,
Into their idea of perfection,
Their idea of someone useful.
You smile when they praise you,
Blush when they compliment you.
You know they are no good,
Know they are after one thing.
But you give in,
Give in to the fiery touches.
The gasps and moans fall of deaf ears,
There is no love, the word has no meaning.
Both are aware they are after one thing,
Release.
And when granted it burns.
Burns so deep, you feel dirty and used.
And what do you blame?
The wanton desires planted into you?
No, you know it stems from an inner fault.
An inner desire to feel the forbidden.
Humanity has not learned.
It will never learn to wait,
Patience is non-existent.
The shame, is however ever present.
Blackening your heart and soul,
Torturing the mind.
You used someone, they used you,
And it burns.
Eve's sin is repeated once again.
I'm not much of a poet but I needed to get this across somehow. No use bottling it up inside,
