Perfection

Is a word used by people who are afraid to accomplish anything.

A word that is used to bring you down, to make you feel incapable.

It’s a word that is placed in sentences and arguments and dictionaries.

Nothing more. Just a word, but yet it’s a word that bring people down to their knees. A word that can shatter a person. Why do we let it do that? Why do we let other people use just one word and make ourselves believe it’s true. That we aren’t perfect, that perfection doesn’t exist.

Well perfection does exist. Perfection is when you are exactly who you want to be at that moment. Perfection is when at that one moment you want nothing more. You may not be perfect all the time.

But always in one persons life they accomplish perfection. It may be a minute or an hour or a day, but everyone accomplishes his or her own perfection. Perfection exists when you’re five and you got that Barbie doll you’ve been wanting for weeks. Perfection is realizing you’re with the love of your life. Perfection is when you wake up in the morning and don’t feel regret, but you’re content with exactly where and who you are.

It doesn’t matter what people say, for they are not the ones who defy it. You’re the only one that can defy it. It’s out there, it truly is. People are perfect, life can be perfect, and it’s just your own to choice to believe it, to reach for it, to accomplish it. To finally stop wanting and wanting but to start living to start loving to start laughing. To finally realize the reality.

I am perfect.
