Why do you hate me?

This is who I’m meant to be.

Just tell me why,

And please don't lie.

I wanted to be your friend.

My eagerness was not pretend.

End the mystery

And just tell me:

Why don’t you like my existence?

To me you have such a resistance.

Why are you so repelled?

Why do you keep kindness withheld?

Instead you’re filled with hate,

For kindness, it’s never too late.

Be daring and give me a chance,

It’s not like I’m looking for romance.

I’ve tried to talk to you,

But all of these people knew.

Now the talk won’t stop,

My attempt was a big flop.

You all think that I am fake,

This is more than I can take.

Why should I defend myself?

I didn’t get my thoughts from a shelf.

I’m more of a person that you’ll ever be,

And I don’t know what it will take you to see.

Everyone says that you are so nice,

I realize now they are like lice.

They’re so annoying and everywhere.

They do not actually care.

They’re mean, just like you.

Now I don’t know what to do.

Can you please just stop the talk?

Get some air and take a walk.

Tired of all I’ve been denying.

Before you all go,

The grass is not greener when you smoke it.

Things aren’t only fun because you toke it.

So give life a try.

Get out of the smoky basement,

Get off of the cracked cement.

Now do something with your life,

Sometimes you have to deal with strife.

But you’ll experience so much more

Without the drugs that you adore.
