Vital energy source pulled out

How can she face the bitter cold all alone?

Can’t bear the tearing pain of her heart

Can’t control the tears that fall….

And they’ve turned crimson…

Salty tears running freely down her cheeks

Mingling with the blood that flows

From a heart that will feel no more

The ocean that you made run dry

The untapped resource of her love

The treasure you didn’t want to hold

And the unchecked river you made flow

And they’ve turned crimson…

Salty tears running freely down her cheeks

Mingling with the blood that flows

From a heart that will feel no more

She offered you her heart, she offered it whole

You rejected her once, rejected her twice… delivered a final blow

Now… her heart will bleed no more

Now… she can taste the scarlet drips

All alone, watching the crimson tears

Knowing you’re glad that you made them fall

And they’ve turned crimson…

Salty tears running freely down her cheeks

Mingling with the blood that flows

From a heart that will feel no more

Do you feel glad you’ve done what you’ve done?

Scarred a heart for life?

As she feels the crimson tears run down

Knowing you can’t see… and you don’t care if they fall….
