The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. And he said, “Hagar, Servant of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?” “I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered. Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” The angel added, “I will so increase your descendants that they will be too numerous to count.” The angel of the Lord also said to her: “You are with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward his brothers.” She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me, for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16:7-13)
The One Who Sees You knows exactly what you are going through, and He is always right beside you.
Pam Superbia:
I am surrounded by morons! Everywhere I look, I see idiots! I would rather be alone again than be with these losers! There must be something seriously wrong with these people.
On the couch, the dumb, horny jock, with some fat chick situated on his lap, was touching, molesting, the blonde boy. Sprawled over the rest of the couch was the infamous failure. Well, he actually spread over the whole of the couch. The others were just sitting on top of him. Meanwhile, in the corner nearest to me, two “lovebirds” were arguing rather disruptively. I mean, as if I really wanted to know their stupid love-quarrels! However, since the room was almost as big as all four of my rooms in my house combine, the “lovebirds” friends couldn’t hear them.
“I can’t believe you, Gregory Daniel Avaritia,” the girl hissed. Her face went red as a cherry as she scowled at the boy.
“I don’t know what you mean, Rachael,” he replied with an uneasy smile. He forced a weak laugh and raised his hands, taking a defensive stance.
“Don’t you dare play dumb with me! Don’t think I haven’t heard about what you did during fourth period!” She paused to give him a disgusted look. “So tell me, where do I fit into this… thing you have going. Aren’t I your girlfriend? What were you thinking?” Her voice rose to a shrill tone that rang in my ears. “Were you even thinking? Did you forget that your actions also affect me? Do you know what people are saying about me behind my back because of you?” What had once been hisses became screams and angry strangled noises. When she was done, she took a breath and slowly let it out. “You once said you loved me… prove it.”
Greg stood there wide-eyed as an owl, arms drooping at his sides lifelessly. “Y-you try telling that idiot no! It’s virtually impossible—hey, where are you going?” He reached out to stop her from walking away.
Shaking off his grip, Rachael stormed across the room, making it a point to stop and scream a line of incoherent curses at the jock and then at Greg. Finished, she stormed out of the room, Greg close at her heels.
The fatty questioned the football player, but the he made some sort of joke, and the boys, excluding the runt, burst out laughing. In retaliation, fatty smacked the jock’s arm.
He sobered a little, but the other just laughed harder. Fatty scowled then aimed a blow with her meaty hand at his hidden pickle. That shut him up real quick.
What a bunch of morons!
Ed Invidia:
There I was, among friends… feeling extremely molested. I guess Sal didn’t think his “subtle” touches went unnoticed. However, what could I have done? Not to mention I felt so… uncomfortable sitting between Seth’s legs. He didn’t seem to mind though. It’s as if Sal brainwashed everyone into being comfortable with this lifestyle. It was only a matter of time before he brainwashed me.
I have to get out of here.
Sal made some crude joke, and, of course, everyone laughed, but I forced out a chuckle, not really paying attention to the conversation. I was too distracted by the golden designs cast about the various surfaces of the room.
This was Greg’s house. I never met him before today, and I know why. The butler who answered the door looked at me with such strong distain I felt like I was going to spontaneously combust under the heat of his stare.
Sal made another crude joke; this time I ignored the conversation completely. I eyed Greg and … I think her name is Rachael. They seemed to be arguing about something. Then, Seth kneed me. Forcedly brought back to reality, I blankly stared at him, and I made sure none of my anger seeped through. He gave me a lazy smirk. I made no response.
A flash of bright red caught my eye. It was Rachael’s face as she stormed her way over to us. When she finally reached us, she screamed, “NO!” at the top of her lungs at Sal, and then turned to Greg and screamed again, “See how easy that was?”
She huffed miserably and stalked out of the room. Greg gave a hasty bow of apology and hurried after his girl.
Tony shifted slightly so she could face Sal. “What was that about? I don’t want any crap about you not knowing because I know you had something to do with it.” Sal pouted for a few seconds before planting a kiss on her lips.
“She’s just jealous because I slept with her boyfriend,” he grinned impishly and laughed, and Seth boomed so hard that I fell off the couch. Sal stopped laughing, but Seth only stopped laughing when a fist landed where it shouldn’t.
I don’t belong here…
