Moonlit
My China Doll

Emeric POV:

I stood there, waiting, watching, for her. She was beautiful, lovely, my girlfriend, and I’m sworn to kill her. Hannah Kanoe (Hah-nah Kah-new) was my princess, my lovely, my everything. Yet, I still had to kill her, I had to murder her, and I wouldn’t be blamed, I wouldn’t be punished. Actually I would, I would marry some twit my parents picked out, or worse Kirsa Faulk. She is that most self centered woman in the world, and my only friend beside Hannah and Ansel Eberly. Ah, here she comes.

“Emeric, get down from the building!” a very scared Hannah said below me.

“Right-o!” I saluted her jokingly and jumped down from my perch, about 10 feet up.

“Emeric! Stop scaring me, you could have fallen, or hurt yourself, or worse.”

Hannah was a gentle hearted creature; she cared, especially for me. She was like an antique doll, she dressed in elegant dresses out side of school, and when she wore the uniform, it seemed different of her, like it fit perfectly without a seam out of place. She was also weak like one; I was picking her up from the Cross Hospital for the third time this month.

“Emeric, you’re spacing out, again,” Hannah took my hand and held on like a child, we were still facing each other, me with a goofy smile, and her with a concerned look.

“Hannah, sorry, I’m fine,” I kissed her lightly on the cheek.

“Don’t tempt me, I tasted it already and I might want more.”

“I know, I know, but what else am I to do with my little china doll?” We started walking and I gripped on of her golden locks and twirled it around my finger. We walked down the street in silence, savoring every moment together, because each one could be our last. I could feel Hannah getting lighter and lighter; she was waking up, and moving away.

“Emeric, I’m craving again,” Hannah was worried.

“It’s okay, let’s get somewhere secluded,” I told her in a tone a mother would tell a child ‘it’ll be okay.’ I lead her to an alley and took off my shirt slightly only to expose my neck. “Bite away.”

Hannah opened her mouth revealing vampire teeth. This was why I had to kill her. My family comes from a line of vampire hunters. And here I am getting blood sucked out of me from my girlfriend, who I have to kill. Hannah bit down; I felt blood trickle down my neck. It didn’t hurt anymore, it felt good, and it felt right, like it was meant to be. Hannah was a Pure Blood. Her parents were vampires, and so were all her relatives. Her little brother Haydn was even blooming into a full vampire. She couldn’t turn me into a vampire though. My blood is strangely immune to it. I have something weird with my blood. Hannah released from my neck. I was sad when it was over.

“I’m done,” Hannah looked away. I kissed her, tasting my blood on her lips. And the way she was biting her lips, I probably tasted some of hers too. At first Hannah was tense then she relaxed, giving in. My tongue was acting on its own; it ran across her lips searching for a way in. She parted her lips, perhaps to stop me, perhaps to let me in, I’ll never know. But I took advantage, and my tongue shot in. After a few minutes Hannah backed away. She tore off some fabric from her dress and placed it around my neck. I’d forgotten about that.

“Thanks.”

“I should be thanking you. You let me drink you blood. You let me!” Hannah was on the verge of crying. We always did this, but tonight I had gotten a little more intimate with the kiss.

“Shh… It’s okay. I don’t care. I’m not effected remember?” I was holding her. We had walked out of the alley and were on our way again.

I dropped her off at her house. Which was really a mansion and not a house. Every house on this street was. I live way up the street. In the biggest mansion. I walked back home feeling the marks on my neck.

Blorp (Aka Bunnicula): Okay that's the first semi-chapter. I might decide to make it longer, but probably not. And yes I realize that this is probably not original and is blah blah Twilight Blah... But I would like to say that I have not read Twilight before, I might in the future but I have not now. Please comment and I accept Flammers but not too bad.
