Dominance

Cutting my face with a thin blade,

She laughs.

Her eyes sparkle

With glee as she watches

As mine fill with tears.

This

Is what she has wanted

For years.

She has wanted

To see me die

Inside at the sight of her.

She has me

Scared now.

I try

To break free,

But my wrists are

Already red with blood from

My previous struggles.

Her laughing eyes catch

The scars at my thigh,

And they widen.

She asks how I fear her

When I have done the same thing

To myself hundreds of time.

I tell her

It is over.

She yells at me.

She told me so.

She told me so.

This is what I get.

I deserve this

For caring for her.

Really, I do.

Because if I had

Never cared for her,

I would have never

Been so clouded.
