It's quite sad, really, that Denzel was being sent to jail even though he was really a victim in this chain of events.

"But he wasn't really a victim," explained James.

"What are you saying?"

"He was a killer. He killed a man. And no matter for what reasons, the intentional killing of another is never justified."

"But what about his paintings?!"

James could tell I was upset. "Look, he could have taken him to court for that. I don't doubt he would have won, too. Not only that, he would have won thousands more than his paintings were worth because the courts would have pitied him as well. But that he killed someone...

"Look, Chris. It's not my job to tell whether or not someone should be arrested. But it is my job to find the truth."

It was true. It wasn't his job to see what was fair and what wasn't. And because of this, I had decided my career as a court plaintiff... to argue what was fair... and what wasn't...
