Clash of Titans

Amidst glitzy lights and glaring reflections
A single pair of feet
Glide upon brightly patterned floors
Carpeted in royal gold and purple and
Illuminated by offending lights
Of off-white and iridescence,
Colliding with contemptuous royal designs
While bringing a body ever closer
To the solid metal structure
Of silver rust and metallic hinges which
Converges with white washed walls
Free of the marring dirt and grime
That splatters the boot clad feet.
