- Final Author Notes -

So, this is it. This is the end of Por Siempre. It’s not perfect or fully fleshed out in the way it could be but this is the end of Por Siempre. Any comments and suggestions for what I can improve for a later, final, draft is very much appreciated.

I’d like to give some credit to those who deserve it. First of all, I have to give some credit to Half Nelson, which is what inspired me to write this story in the first place. Rather, it placed the prolouge in my head and after that it has just rolled on. I’m not one for taking bets with what I place online normally, I let it simmer and I rewrite it and fix it up so it’ll be perfect and I don’t put up starts of stories I’m not sure I’ll finish.
I took a wild shot with Por Siempre, and it ended up being the longest story I’ve written as of yet.

Also, some credit has to go to Grey’s Anatomy, which has inspired me as well. Most notably it inspired Maxs speech in Seattle. And of course, some credit goes to Tegan and Sara for writing such wonderful lyrics that decipt things in a way that has inspired me tremendously.

Originally, Por Siempre was going to end differently. It wasn’t the easiest choice to make to have it end the way it did, because with time, I’ve grown too close to Alex and most importantly too close to Ella to want to hurt them. I had a draught and a hiatus from this story when I stood at a standstill and didn’t know where I wanted it to go and it took quite a while before I made my decisions, and even then a lot of things just came with writing it agian. It took a bit of determination to finish it, as well. I had to sit down and tell myself that I wanted to finish this story tonight and that was final, since I’m not very good with finishing things I’ve started. But I’m very glad that I give this story its ending, which is the only ending it really could’ve had, now that I’ve written it.

I love this story more than I’ve loved any story of mine. It holds so much of myself and my own feelings in there. And I’ve spent eleven months with this piece and it’s been nice to always have a place and people to return to when so many other things have changed. In some ways, Grady is a home where I know every nook and room.

So finally I would like to give thanks where it is deserved. I would like to thank Sanna, first of all, for reading my story from the beginning and giving some of the most valuable feedback, and Julia, for encouraging me in many different ways to start writing it again, but most of all I would like to thank those who have reviewed. Some of you have contributed great constructive critisism which has developed into a nice dialouge between writers and some of you have always been supportive of my writing and told me how Por Siempre has affected you which is truly an amazing feeling. I appreciate every single review I have gotten or will get with this story, so my biggest thanks goes out to you who have read and reviewed.

Thank you so very much.
