Together

If opposites attract

Then we’re meant for each other

If chemicals react

Then we’ll be together forever

People talk of the one
Who you’re truly supposed to be with

And once together: your search is done

Though it could just be a myth

But I don’t believe in myths

I believe it to be true

I knew by our first kiss

That it would always be me and you

So I stand here to day

With a question and plea

Answer you may

Will you marry me?
