God’s Love Through My Family

God’s love through my family ---

I can see God’s love through my family!

The way that they’ve stood by me

All these years,

They’ve always loved and supported

Me in every way possible ---

Whether it be school,

Or staying out of trouble,

Making sure I’m fed,

Clothed

And shielded from the dangers of the world!

My family has never left nor forsaken

Me,

Even when I stepped out of line,

The love was still there

Even though it was manifested

Through discipline of some kind!

Every time they rebuke me,

It’s all in the name of Love ---

And those angels are still with

Me even today ---

Always showing great Love

In the simplest of ways,

Mainly by showing interest

In what’s going on in my life!

And although I’ve never seen God

At any time or any form,

Nor have I ever been to Heaven,

God’s love is manifested

Through the simple but selfless deeds

Of my family!!!
